Answer: Homework is graded with no partial credit. For each problem you are given 1 point if your answer is 100% correct and 0 points otherwise. If you received a 0 on a problem then (unless stated otherwise) you have until the next week's recitation to reattempt that problem. Rewrites should be done on a separate sheet of paper and you must write your solution in its entirety. In other words, you cannot just write over your original solution to correct what was done wrong. When turning in your rewrite, you must turn in your original homework as well. This is to ensure that you are not rewriting a problem that you didn't originally get incorrect. If you want me to check over a rewrite before you turn it in, please email me a picture before the deadline and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Answer: C.P. stands for "Completion Points". I only correct a small (random) portion of the total problems assigned on each homework. Because of this, I also give 0, 1, or 2 completion points based on how much of the assignment you completed.
Answer: ECF stands for "error carried forward". I write ecf on quizzes and exams if you got something wrong in the beginning of a problem but did everything else correct using that initial wrong step.
Answer: Notation means that there is something wrong with the middle steps of your work or your answer. Examples include writing lim by itself without a function, not carrying your limits through your work, or writing equal signs between things that aren't equal.
