  • Final Exam Resources

You can access a final exam review sheet here, and its solutions here.

Aside from the review sheet, I would recommend the following for studying.
  • Catch up on all of your written homework and rewrites before the deadline (April 26).
  • Catch up on your online homework before the deadline (start of final exam).
  • Go to the Math Fellows review sessions.
  • Rewrite your notes, adding in any extra details you feel are necessary. Rewriting notes is better for memorization/comprehension than simply rereading them.
  • Do the Midterm 1 and Midterm 2 practice problems online. Do extra problems as needed.
  • Go to Math Fellows or contact Professor MG whenever you have questions.
  • Search and use extra resources on the internet (such as YouTube videos, Khan Academy, etc.)

    Opportunities for Extra Points

Here is a summary of ways I've offered extra points for class (will be updated as necessary):

  • Office hour extra credit: Anyone who attends/schedules office hours with me before the first midterm receives extra credit.
  • Homework rewrites: You can redo any written homework problems you get wrong. If you do them correctly and submit the written work to me, you get full credit for that problem.
  • Midterm rewrites: You can redo any of the problems you got wrong on your midterms for half of the points back.
  • Quiz 2 re-do: Quiz 2 is repeatable. You can take the unit-circle version of the quiz as many times as you need.
  • Optional classworks: Any classwork marked as optional on the gradebook can be done for extra credit.
  • Missed classes: If you missed any classwork points, you can do those problems on your own and turn it in for credit.
  • Typos: Anyone who finds typos on worksheets or solutions gets extra credit.
